Original Kenyan kikoi made from pure cotton with hand rolled fringes.
The kikoi is a versatile fabric that you can use as a sarong, a scarf, a head wrap, a towel, a curtain, a tablecloth etc.
Traditionally worn by men, they have nowadays become a perfect beachwear for everyone!
This black kikoi reminded us of our local African penguins so it was named after the South African Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town on the Cape Peninsula. It’s a great place to visit to see the African penguins. Unfortunately our African penguin is now classified as a critically endangered species…
